Two trades I am going to take out of these are CROX and RDNT. RDNT because it is up 684% from low. It is at number 4 in the entire 365 stock 100% plus universe. I always try and take breakouts in top 10. The philosophy being the market knows something to drive these stocks higher. CROX because ranked by 65 days growth, it is lowest in list. It is up 127% for the year. As always my stops are at 2 days low. That means low of Monday, April 2007.

Other than that I have positions in SPEC, NVR, USHS, and MAMA from the todays Episodic Pivot list. The trade I am taking from IBD list is PRFT.

Media favorites like Cramer et all appear to have masses of followers blindly prepared to take a position based on a throw away comment. What do you do when a position you want to take coincides with the likes of one of these guys?

i.e. Crox see
Cramer said the shorts haven't covered and that could run up.

Thank you for bringing back the 100% list and reasoning for a few of your picks. Like others, I believe I learn from studying your reasonings.

My last question of the day is something I read earlier from one of your tutorials about earning breakouts, and their following flags.

Is there a site that will inform us when earnings dates are announced (as you spoke of earlier)so that one could watch them the following day and on?

Thanks once again

I don't listen to CNBC, I do not subscribe to any of the services like street.com, briefings, or several other things.
The only business related publications I read are Investors Business Daily and The Economist.
If something comes on my scan and fits my risk management I buy. In Episodic Pivot list where I research a lot, I skip trades where Crammer is the only catalyst for major move.
Once in a while I take contrary trades based on sheer amount of noise about an issue by popular pundits. That is almost like free money.

Investors Business Daily has everyday a page on Earnings Releases.
Besides that the WSJ in their Data Center has earnings page.
