Many stocks are forming constructive swing setups. Everyday I go through around 500 stocks with momentum to identify setups with range contraction. Range contraction is followed by range expansion. So monitoring these setups can get you early entry in to god 3 to 5 day swing move of 8 to 40%.

How do you get the stock list..
Pure scan list ? Or visual selection list ?
Combination of both. First I run scan to narrow down the list and then look at small numbers for best setups.
Do you mind sharing your pure scan rules here ?
First I scan for stocks up at least 80% plus from one year low. + liquidity condition to eliminate stocks that trade less than 100k in last 3 days.
After that I sort them by 7 day price % change and eliminate those up 20% plus or down 20% plus
Then next I sort by price % change and eliminate those up 2% plus or down 2%.
From the remaining I select my candidates.
Takes me 5 to 10 minutes to do it.
