There are two markets currently. A small set of stocks are doing well and holding up very well. As long as you focus on these stocks like FB, LNKD, AAPL, TSLA, NFLX, QIHU, and host handful of other momentum leaders, you will see market looking good.
But then vast majority of stocks are in down trend. Only around 30% of stocks are trading above their 40 day moving average.
It is a selective rally with decent amount of breakout failure. You have to be very selective.
