Market have started with positive open and so far holding on to gains. In recent days markets have opened strong and faded by end of the day.

The underlying setups are more important. One of the setups showing up on my scan very early was ARWR. It is a developmental stage biotech company. Stock has been in momentum phase for last 2 months. In last few weeks it had orderly sideways consolidation and today had a high volume breakout.

This kind of momentum burst action often results in moves of 3 to 5 days and can be of 8 to 40% magnitude.

Another stock showing up in short scans is BIOD, it is breaking down on high volume after a 3 month consolidation.
