REFR,Research Frontiers Inc (Google Yahoo Earnings Chart)
This is a company I have been tracking for long time. Today the stock is up some 40%. Now this is very interesting company. It has insignificant revenue and from time to time the stock makes dramatic moves. What drives the price, some very skillful press releases about their product being introduced or some demo at Nasdaq opening or some licence signing by glass manufacturer . This happens with clock work regularity. There are number of such Press Release companies and you can never understand how investors believe these things, but the game continues.
So the moment it broke out on high volume around $4.50, I said aha , I have seen this movie before. There are some stocks which just trade mysteriously. For some mysterious reason such things never get investigated.
