Anything with news (not just earnings) rallies in a bull market like this.

The old QQQQ 44 calls I said to buy in late December near 0.30 now trading nearly 500% return.

Semis are the correct longer term play, IMHO.

Is there a good way to stay up to date on earnings announcements? Is there any way to be notified as these announcements are made, or does one need to simply keep checking the news? If so, are there any sites that you'd recommend? Thanks!

Sources of earnings:
WSJ earning center
earnings.com
Zacks
Investor Business Daily
Briefing.com
Reuters
Marketwatch earnings section

Basicaly there are only 3-4 major earning information providers like Reuters, Zacks, S&P and Thompsons. All other sites pull information from these sources and massage it.
