Stocks with extreme volume

Extreme events, by definition, are rare. But sometimes they are very important and have large impacts. Much of my learning about extreme value theory happened while working in the logistics and distribution business, where most of your network is built for everyday needs but from time to time it has to handle extreme events. As a senior manager in logistics business, on day to day basis such extreme events are a great challenge, you deal with extreme weather, extreme volumes, extreme requirements. That is how my interest in the special field of statistics called extreme value theory developed.
Extreme value theory is a branch of statistics dealing with the extreme deviations from the median of probability distributions. It is the study of tails.
This scan uses a very simple extreme event. The stocks in this list have all time high volume (based on the database I use).
