What are your trading Problems

September 6, 2025

The ability to solve your trading problems is fundamental to becoming a profitable trader. The difference between unprofitable traders and profitable traders is that the profitable traders found solutions to their trading issues.

I did a recent YouTube video about trading problems and the four basic kinds of problems in trading, based on helping thousands of traders solve their trading problems.

I addressed most of the comments left by viewers that were specific to trading.

If you have specific trading problems, leave them in comments, and I will answer them in a new post next week.

Only answer specific problems related to trading if they are related to the US stock market.

  1. My trading pattern is completely price-action based. The core of my approach is the expansion and contraction pattern, which is simple in nature.

Earlier, I used to get very few entries — hardly 3 to 4 trades in a month, and I would miss most of the moves. Over time, I refined and simplified my criteria.

In the last 2 months, my setup has evolved to a point where I now get 5 to 6 entries in a single day, allowing me to capture many more moves.

Currently, my win rate is around 20%–25%, which means I frequently face long losing streaks. On average, I see streaks of 9+ consecutive losses, with the highest noted streak being 22 losses in a row.

Because of this, I spend most of my time in drawdowns.

👉 My question is: Am I on the right path, or do you have any suggestions for me?
