Thanks!!
It was an anticipation setup my entry was 80.56
wow I thought buy point was 82.26 which was breakout of most recent highs and resistance.
Thanks Pradeep ! Your posts are a great opportunity for a beginner as me. I wonder what happens with UAL: it seems to have had a good start for an anticipation breakout, with an entry at 77.12 I suppose, but today it has gone down a lot with a big gap ... is it such a loss unavoidable ? What's your experience ?
Thanks again
UAL always always avoid stocks with earnings due in day or 2 . So I did not have position in it. unless one has lots of cushion , holding in to earnings is gamble.
Thanks a lot ! I understand what you say. I noticed that also DAL have a big gap down but it report earnings on 4/12: different logic here?
Same sector
AAL too.. so those anticipation setups are from visual inspection only and need to be considered from a fundamental standpoint ?
only thing I look for is earnings date
thanks Pradeep, much appreciated !
Expansion plans by United appear to be the reason of the big hit of airline stocks today... in your experience, such a news could be related to earnings time or it remains unpredictable ?
it was part of earnings announcement
thanks so much, Pradeep.
A hug
