Top 50 stocks for swing traders

Momentum is time period specific. When you look at momentum on one year time frame you will find different candidates from when you look at it in 65 days or 21 days period.

The longer term momentum ranking shows you candidates with longer term momentum trends. If you are position or intermediate term trader then , it is goldmine for you as some of these stock have first leg followed by months of pullback or consolidation and setup again for multi month move. If you use a filter of say nearness from high to rank momentum stock in addition to momentum then you miss out on some of the long term winners as they can pullback up to 30% plus from high and still maintain their momentum phase.

The intermediate and short term ranks tend to be more volatile but they allow you to find emerging leaders. Of  you are swing trader they allow you to focus on just a handful of stocks with explosive momentum potential.
